#FreeTown is a summer land activation series and movement building space created in the legacy of Freedom Square. Free Town 2020 will be a mecca for abolitionist consciousness building, linking open spaces in the Back of the Yards community to promote health & wellness, the arts, political self-governance, and economic self-determination.
In order to sustain our series, we are looking for volunteers, collaborators, and partners to build programming, vision, and long-term sustainability for the #LetUsBreathe Collective.
Please fill out the form at bit.ly/freetownvolunteer and make your commitment to be a part of #FreeTown 2020 today!

Community activations like #FreeTown 2020 and the #LetUsBreathe series highlight how public spaces can bring people together to reflect, create, and heal. These gatherings encourage dialogue, art, and movement, giving residents a chance to reclaim shared environments in meaningful ways. Events that blend culture, wellness, and open-air experiences remind people how powerful community presence can be. In many discussions about outdoor freedom and mobility, places such as Montana E-Bikes | Going-to-the-Sun Road are often mentioned as symbols of exploration and connection with nature. Ultimately, initiatives like this inspire people to breathe, engage, and imagine healthier, more inclusive spaces for everyone in the future.
